Each year, BC Blind Sports and Recreation partners with local teachers of students with visual impairments, Orientation & Mobility specialists, educational assistants, and other community partners to host sports days for students with visual impairments at regional events all over British Columbia. These days serve to promote adaptive recreation activities and sports for students with visual impairments and are a great opportunity for students and professionals alike to reconnect and socialize.

Sports Days are typically held in the last weeks of May or first weeks of June. This year, regional Sports Days are planned for Victoria on May 31, 2019 and in Vancouver on June 7, 2019. Contact an Outreach Coordinator if you would like more information about Sports Days for students with visual impairments in British Columbia.
